MR. WARDELL JOHNSON

WILLARD -  Mr. Johnson passed away peacefully on Saturday in Pender County.  Funeral service will held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 14, from Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Willard Community Cemetery.  

A native of Pender County, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Frank Jones and Annie Mae Johnson.  He is survived by five brothers, Elijah Johnson (Chubby), Frank Jones, Jr. (Bo), Billy Ray Jones and his wife, Mallie, Kyle (Greg) Johnson and his wife, Linda Faye and Nathaniel (Bay Bay) Jones; sisters, Felita Lee, Laverne Johnson and her husband, Douglas, Grace Ann Williams and her husband, Dewitt, Barbara Jean Keith and her husband, Kelvin, and Letha (Lisa) Johnson; aunts, Annie Lou McMillian, Ruth Murray, and Laura Murray; uncles, Bryant (Tip) Murray and Glenfield Knight; Special niece and nephew, Tiffany Boykins and George Johnson; special cousins, Kerr Walker, Monetta Walker and Darius Walker. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glendale Johnson.

Visitation - Wednesday evening, 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
