MARY A. MATTHEWS

WALLACE - Ms. Matthews passed peaceful on Thursday.  Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, from Adoram Baptist Church.  Ms. Matthews was the daughter of the late Fitzhugh and Mariah Kenan Matthews. She is survived by children, Maurice, Conway, and Evette; brothers and sisters, Fitzhugh Matthews, Jr., William Matthews, Cynthia, Helen and Mark Carr and William Alderman; sisters-in-law, Geneva Matthews, Jean Matthews and Barbara Jean Matthews; grandchildren, Michael, Connie and Keimen Matthews; nieces and nephews, Tyrone, Leonard and Shelia Shawon, Dashawn, Mariah, Mya Corley, Brencent, Naphline, Mychelle, Leonard Jr., Sterling, Renee and Jermaine.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Gloria Matthews Corley.
